Doom Ultra-Violence Game Review
Doom Ultra-Violence is a beat-em-up game where you play as Doom. The gameplay features a modern style. It uses the OpenBor engine, which allows players to use weapons like those in Golden Axe or Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.
Several new weapons and enemy behaviors are added. You can also pick up monster weapons and perform finishing moves. There are two different difficulty modes: Realism Mode and Power Fantasy.
In Realism Mode, the amount of enemies is much smaller. You can also sprint in all levels, regardless of difficulty.
If you choose to use a shotgun or pistol, you will have a good range and accuracy. Unfortunately, the damage is low. Most of the weapons have limited magazines. Despite this, the Super Shotgun has great spread. This means that you can hit a number of enemies at the same time.
Other new weapons in Doom Ultra-Violence include a rocket launcher, which you can fire with a special button. It is also a powerful weapon, but it is slow.
Marines are loosely following Doomguy. They wear tan armor and a red helmet. Some of them have a shotgun, while others have a minigun.
Marines' speed gives them surprising survivability. However, their armor is not as sturdy as Doomguy's. Using a rocket launcher on a Marine will hurt the player.
Marines are found in the Battle of Los Angeles and Extermination Day episodes. Each one has a subtype. For example, they may have a Minigun and blue armor. Their uniforms also change depending on the weapon they are using.
